Anyone ever read the whole series besides me?? I got the whole series in one book for christmas I think the very year the movie came out *the new one, not the old one though I have seen that one^_~*. My favorite character has to be Edmund. He is most like me out of all the Pevensie siblings. And I just love his actor in the movie^_~ but I'll save that for the movies thread. I love Edmund because I feel we are alot alike. We had similiar dispositions, he was kinda moody and sullen at first, but really changed after he was rescued^_^ Really, he wasn't a bad character, not even when he betrayed his siblings for a bit. Just a bit lost, but he found his way. Anyways, I am quite saddened that the wolves were on the White Witch Jadis' side too...but I do have a new found appreciation towards lions thanks to Aslan^_^ Oh and I loved the Gryphons and think Lucy and Tumnus make a CUTE couple^_~

I also got the omnibus edition (all books together in 1). I got to Voyage of the Dawn Trader (I think it was called) then got bored with the series and stopped reading it. No series ever holds my attention for very long. I only read a few of the 40K books before I stopped, though the Dirk Pitt books I've read the most.

Moving on. The series was new and different, but leaning a little heavily onto Christianity (could THAT be why dad bought it >.>) and it just kinda got boring after a while.

hm...I got past a certain book too when I stopped for a bit. Then I found where I was and finished it. I must say I didn't like Caspian much...I prefered the Pevensies as the Kings and Queens of Narnia ^_~
