Eyeshield 21

I started reading this series a while back and fell in love with it. It is a sports shonen manga about football. Here's a summary,

Kobayakawa Sena is a freshman in highschool. Despite his previous decisions to change his life, he finds himself in the exactly same place he was in during elementary school and junior high: a push over and an errand boy. However, this changes when Hiruma, the most feared person in his school and president of the American Football Club, notices Sena and forces him to join the Football Team. Now Sena will become Eyeshield 21, a mysterious running back with lighting fast speed.

Believe me when I say this series is WORTH reading cause I used to HATE football and the comedy that this story is interlaced with and short and simple explenations of whats going on in the games actually turned me on to football. Now I am reading up on the sport and actually am understanding it with a little help from the series.

*Note this is an anime but I came across it as a manga first so Manga is were it now resides.

Despite it, I still hate football. Hockey and baseball are the only sports I like.

Anyway, you are obsessed with it. I think you're more obsessed with Eyeshield then I am with Halo, The Legend of Dragoon and dragons combined (and that is saying something!). Hiruma is funny, though.

Thank you. I proudly admit I am obsessed. Hiruma is more then funny he is effing hilarious. His humor and stuff he does will have you laughing your backside off or rolling on the floor laughing.
